BENGALURU: Less than a month after IndiGo forgot to load the luggage of passengers travelling on a Delhi-Istanbul flight, 10 people aboard an AirAsia flight realised their bags had been left behind in Krong Siem Reap airport, Cambodia, when they landed here on Monday night.
The airline left behind around 12 bags of passengers aboard the flight, which had a stopover at Kuala Lumpur.
According to sources, the pieces of baggage were not loaded due to chaos at the airport after boarding systems stopped working. All passengers were issued hand-written boarding passes when they boarded around 2.30pm on Monday. The flight landed in Bengaluru at 10.35pm.
“Around 12 ba gs were left behind at Krong Siem Reap airport. Since the server was down, airline staff had to manually tag the baggage, which may have led to the chaos.
