NEW DELHI: A technical snag led to a delay of over 24 hours for 220 passengers who were to fly Air India’s Paris-Delhi flight (AI 142) this Tuesday (December 6).
They boarded the Boeing 787 for the scheduled 9 pm departure, but the Dreamliner developed a snag. The airline’s engineering team tried to rectify the fault and passengers remained on board for two hours. However, later they were asked to alight from the aircraft.
One of the passengers complained there was no word from AI on when the flight will leave. An airline official later said, “We sent passengers to hotels in Paris after the snag. The aircraft took off for Delhi on Wednesday at 10.30pm.”
