Ahead of the formal takeover of Air India by Tata Sons, the company’s Chairman N Chandrasekaran met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday.
Further, a ceremonial handover of the airline will be taking place at Air India headquarters in Delhi. All government representatives of Air India are likely to have tendered their resignation on Thursday afternoon.
