NEW DELHI: National carrier Air India is operating its flights nearly as per schedule with occasional delays in some flights of up to one hour. The airline has been trying over the last 48 hours to get all its operations back to normal after a 6-hour shutdown of its server early on Saturday.
While most of the early morning flights took off as normal, a few of them faced short delays while one got cancelled, according to information available with flightview and flightaware, two portals giving details of airline operations. Air India’s Delhi-Mumbai flight AI 887 that was to depart at 7 am got cancelled, while Mumbai-Chennai flight AI570 got delayed by half an hour.
