Air India has cancelled all its flights to London from April 24-30, following the UK government’s decision to include India in the red list of countries.
The inclusion of India in the red list restricts the entry of all passengers except citizens of the UK and Ireland. Permanent residents of the UK are allowed to travel, too.
In all, thirteen flights will be cancelled between London and Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru during this period.
British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, and Vistara operate flights between India and London too, but so far have not announced any changes in schedule.
Air India said that the flights were being cancelled in view of recent restrictions announced by the UK government.
