Three Rafale jets will join the Indian Air Force when they land in Gujarat on Wednesday. The jets will fly from France and will fuelled mid-air by the UAE, said reports.
At least 10 new Rafale fighter aircraft would be joining its fighter fleet leading to the formation of the second squadron of the planes.
The new additions would increase the number of these planes to 21 as already 11 of these planes are flying with the Ambala-based 17 Squadron.
“Three Rafale fighters would be arriving in India in next two to three days directly flying from France with midair refuelling support by a friendly Air Force.
