Canada’s largest airline carrier, Air Canada has reported a cyberattack. The Canadian airline has claimed that an unauthorised group of hackers obtained access to its internal system. The latest hacking has exposed the personal information of an unknown number of employees working for Air Canada.
Air Canada loses internal data
In a statement to Globe and Mail, Air Canada spokesperson Peter Fitzpatrick said that “certain records” were infected by the “limited” breach. However, he didn’t name the records that were exposed.
