AHMEDABAD: After Air India, now IndiGo airlines is gearing up to establish an aircraft leasing centre at GIFT IFSC in Gandhinagar. The Board of InterGlobe Aviation Limited, the parent company of IndiGo airline, on Monday announced in its regulatory filing that it has granted approval for the establishment of a venture capital division, which will be initially funded with Rs 30 crore.
The company officially announced in a filing to the stock exchanges that its Board of Directors has given the green light for the incorporation of a Private Limited Company. The investment has been endorsed by the board, which will realise the setting up of the centre in GIFT Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City in Gandhinagar, according to the stock exchange filing.
