Shares of Gautam Adani group companies were in focus and rallied up to 12 per cent backed by heavy volumes on the BSE in Friday’s intra-day trade in an otherwise weak market.
Adani Power (up 12 per cent at Rs 321), Adani Green Energy (10 per cent at Rs 1,025), Adani Energy Solutions (9 per cent at Rs 894.35) and Adani Enterprises (Rs 2,665), Adani Wilmar (Rs 393.55) and Adani Total Gas (Rs 676.70) were up 7 per cent on the BSE in intra-day trade. Adani Ports, ACC, Ambuja Cements and New Delhi Television were up in the range of 2 per cent to 5 per cent. In comparison, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 0.35 per cent at 64,922 at 12:13 PM.
