Adani group companies– Adani Green Energy NSE -0.18 % and Adani Transmission– have made commitments towards United Nations’ ‘Sustainable Development Goal 7’ (SDG 7) which calls for to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all by 2030, the Gautam Adani-led company said in a statement on Tuesday.
“Both AGEL and ATL have centered their business strategy around the achievement of SDGs across all their activities, with SDG 7 as the cornerstone,” the company said in a statement after making the commitment as a part of COP26 climate change summit.
