MUMBAI: Adani Electricity has appealed to its largest consumer base of 30 lakh users in Mumbai to conserve energy by using air-conditioners wisely this summer.
“Every summer, residential electricity consumption rises by an average 30% on account of high usage of air-conditioners,” said an Adani official.
However, Adani has shared some tips for consumers which they can adopt to conserve energy and also reduce monthly electricity bills.
* Always keep your AC at 24 degrees. This is an optimum temperature and every degree lesser than this leads to 5% additional consumption.
