Mumbai: The Gautam Adani-led Adani Enterprises Ltd has won rights to operate and manage the Guwahati airport for the next 50 years, bringing all six airports where operations were to be privatized under its control.
When financial bids were opened on Tuesday, Adani Enterprises bid a per passenger fee of ₹160 that it would pay the Airports Authority of India for the right to run the airport, the highest among all bidders.
An AAI press release said when the financial bids were opened for Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati, Adani Enterprises led the pack by bidding ₹160. NIIF-Zurich Airport International consortium bid ₹155, AMP Capital ₹136, GMR Infrastructure ₹59 and PNC Infratech ₹18.
