After leading a walkout over the issue from the Rajya Sabha earlier this week, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday hit the streets in Delhi with its demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into businessman Gautam Adani’s alleged misdemeanours. AAP workers led by Delhi convenor Gopal Rai and MLAs Saurabh Bhardwaj and Durgesh Pathak gheraoed BJP Headquarters at ITO, leading to massive jam in the area.
Addressing workers, the party’s Delhi convener Gopal Rai said a joint parliamentary committee comprising members from various parties should probe the matter. “BJP is running away from the probe. There is only one leader, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who is not scared of any investigation,” he said.
