Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) has entered into an agreement for the provision of Communication Navigation Surveillance Systems (CNS) & Air Traffic Management (ATM) facilities and services at the Jewar airport.
“AAI will provide the Air Navigation Services at Noida International Airport (Jewar). As an Air Navigation Services Provider (ANSP), AAI is only entity statutorily empowered to provide air traffic services (at civil airports) in India,” said a release from AAI.
The agreement was jointly signed by Mr. Christoph Schnellman, CEO, Noida International Airport (NIA) & Kiran Jain CEO, YIAPL and Shri K Vasudevan, ED Air Space Management (ASM) on the behalf of AAI, the release added.
