Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan for development works worth more than Rs 650 crores in Bilaspur and made three important announcements for the district.
He was addressing the general assembly at a function at the local Lal Bahadur Shastri School ground.
The announcements included naming the Central Library after former MLA of Bilaspur Late Pandit Shivdulare Mishra, naming the English school at Tarabahar after Sheikh Gaffar and naming the Airport to be built in Bilaspur after Bilasa Bai Kevtin.
Among those present were Home Minister and District In-charge Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey and Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahriya.
