MUMBAI: Parts of Bandra West faced power cuts on Thursday afternoon that lasted for nearly one-and-a-half hours, leaving several residents frustrated in hot and humid weather. Residents were without fans and air conditioners in the sultry weather.
The outage occurred in Pali market and nearby areas around 1.40 pm and the power was restored by around 3 pm. An official from Adani Electricity said that the fault was in the LT (lot tension) pillar cable and this was a “local issue” and not a major problem.
