Gurugram: A 7.9-kilometre section of the Narnaul-Rewari outer bypass road will be opened for traffic by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) by the end of this month, said Union minister and Gurugram Member of Parliament (MP) Rao Inderjit Singh in a statement issued on Friday.
The minister said the road has already been opened by the highways authority for a traffic trial. The opening of the road will reduce traffic congestion, he said.
A senior NHAI official said the entire length of the bypass road is around 14.4km and the stretch that is proposed to be opened is around 7.9km.
