NEW DELHI: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is strengthening mobile connectivity by introducing 5G at all its 69 underground stations to ensure that there is no poor connectivity in its underground stretch.
Currently, 29 underground stations have been successfully upgraded with the system, while infrastructure work is in progress at the remaining 40 underground stations, including associated tunnels.
Of the total DMRC network of 390.1km, the underground network is spread over 102.4km. The introduction of 5G services at underground stations allows passengers to enjoy uninterrupted high-quality streaming and seamless connectivity for their devices.
