CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu government has allowed up to 50% additional floor space index (FSI) over and above the premium FSI for properties located within 500 metres from the central line of the proposed Metro Rail Project Phase II. The State housing secretary issued an order to this effect recently after amending the Tamil Nadu Combined Development and Building Rules (TNCDBR), 2019.
