The CBI has booked the promoters of Ranchi Expressway Ltd of Madhucon Group for causing a loss of Rs 1,029 cr to a consortium of banks led by Canara Bank. The CBI has alleged that the promoters instead of putting 25 per cent equity before the drawdown from lenders, took loan from the bank in their another company and round tripped it to show it as their own equity in Ranchi Expressway Ltd.
