MUMBAI: Tata Power on Wednesday announced that its city consumers saved 4.45 million units of energy by adopting an energy-efficient lifestyle in 2023, thereby resulting in 24% savings in electricity bills.
The announcement came in the wake of power utility firms in Mumbai celebrating Energy Conservation Week from December 14 to 21, 2023 to promote awareness and encourage energy-efficient practices.
“More than 30,000 consumers in the island city and suburbs use green energy, with annualised sales of more than 300 million units,” a senior official said.
