NEW DELHI: Three labourers sustained burn injuries on Tuesday while digging the ground as part of ongoing works in the Safe City Project.
Police said the incident took place when labourers accidentally damaged a gas pipeline belonging to Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) in north Delhi’s Burari.
IGL officials were also allegedly roughed up by some inebriated locals when they came to fix the line after the incident, police said, adding that they were taking legal action.
