PM Modi will flag off the second Vande Bharat train between Varanasi and New Delhi at 2:15 pm on December 18. The train will be saffron in colour. It has multiple new features, a Railways statement said.
This is the second saffron colour Vande Bharat train in the country, according to Indian Railways. The first saffron-grey coloured Vande Bharat train was launched on September 24 between Kasaragod and Thiruvananthapuram.
The train will provide passengers with such amenities as onboard Wi-Fi infotainment, GPS-based passenger information system, plush interiors, bio-vacuum toilets with touch-free conveniences, diffused LED lighting, charging points beneath every seat, individual touch-based reading lights and concealed roller blinds, news agency PTI quoted Railways officials as saying.
