To address people’s outstanding grievance about the poor condition of roads in the city, Karnal Smart City Ltd (KSCL), has geared up to refurbish 26 key roads. It has transferred funds to the Karnal Municipal Corporation (KMC) and the PWD (B&R) for the repair, re-carpeting and strengthening of these roads under the Karnal Smart City project.
These roads have been chosen after an assessment of their condition. Those that have a lot of potholes and are prone to deterioration due to heavy traffic are being given priority.
