BENGALURU: Two persons were arrested for flying a drone camera over the premises of the air force station in Chimney Hills, Chikkabanavara, in north Bengaluru recently. The air force staff traced the drone camera and brought it down.
Police found that the camera was used to record an aerial view of a house-warming function. The accused duo have been identified as Manjunath H, 29, a resident of Chitradurga, and Kiran Kumar, of Bhumika Layout on Hesaraghatta Main Road.
Squadron Leader DYS Chauhan, station security officer, in his complaint with Bagalagunte police, stated that defence personnel found a drone camera flying around at 5.15am on August 23. They immediately brought it down.
