Two vehicles caught fire in Bermo area here on Monday.The incident took place at Gomia police station. A massive fire broke out in two trucks laden with coal parked in the police station premises around 4.45 am on Monday morning.
On receiving information about the fire, police officials of Gomia PS reached the spot and the incident was reported to the fire brigade of IEL and Tenughat. The fire brigade vehicle reached the spot and started extinguishing the fire. The flames were so strong that it took almost four hours to extinguish it. At present, the cause of the fire is not known,said Ashish Khakha officer-in charge of Gomia police station.
