As many as 16 companies have become eligible for the Rs 4,500 cr production linked incentive (PLI) scheme for solar panel manufacturing. But, only top two firms will get full allocations, while the third ranking company will get PLI worth Rs 1,235 cr only instead of eligibility for Rs 1,917 cr, to match the Rs 4,500 cr of corpus.
