BENGALURU: Imagine standing at a height of 131ft and watching flights landing and taking off from Bengaluru just before you lift off in one yourself. This could become a reality from September 1 as construction work on the tallest passenger twin viewing towers at Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) is moving rapidly, with all international operations set to switch to T2 starting September.
The new terminal, themed ‘terminal in a garden’, started flight operations in January 15. It is now preparing to unveil its new passenger viewing galleries at a height of 131ft with room enough for flyers to wine and dine, watch airplanes, and soak in a 360-degree bird’s-eye view of the airport.
