In an order to decrease vehicular pollution in Gurugram, the Municipal Corporation of Gurugam (MCG) has decided to take off road around 12,000 diesel autos which are 10 years old and are currently plying on different stretches in Gurugram.
Under the project ‘Parivartan’ the MCG has started work in the direction of adopting e-vehicles in order to make a pollution-free city.
Under the initiative, officials of the MCG, officials of the Regional Transport Authority RTA and the Police Department have held a special discussion with the auto union and auto drivers in Gurugram on Wednesday.
While addressing the auto union representatives and auto drivers, Additional Commissioner of MCG zone-IV Jaspreet Kaur said that environmental pollution is a serious problem and to resolve this issue,
