Governor’s advisor, K Skandan today asked the Rural Development Department (RDD) and the Panchyati Raj department to effectively implement the RDD schemes particularly those having special focus on road connectivity, skill development and housing.
The advisor was reviewing implementation of the schemes and programmes of the RDD and the Panchyati Raj sectors at a meeting here.
A detailed discussion was held on the works undertaken under MGNERGA, Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin, Water Shed Development, 14th Finance Commission, SansadAdharsh Gram Yojona (SAGY), Shyama Prasad MukherjiRurban Mission (SPMRM), Himayat (DDU-GKY) Programme and Pradhan MantriAwassYojana (Grameen).
