Uppal ready for skywalk, KTR says NHAI spanner made project crawl
HYDERABAD: Municipal administration and urban development minister KT Rama Rao lambasted the central government, claiming that while the rest of Hyderabad saw several flyovers opened, Uppal could not get any due to the slow progress of two NHAI elevated corridors.
Speaking after inaugurating city’s latest skywalk at Uppal junction, KTR said the difference between the work pace of flyovers built by the state government and Narendra Modi-led central government speaks volumes about who is more efficient. “We even offered to take up job on these two flyovers as well. But Centre insisted on doing it themselves as the project comes under the National Highways Authority of India.
