Two private EV chargers come up in capital
New Delhi: Months after Delhi government launched the single window system to install electric vehicle chargers, two private EV chargers have come up in the city.
While the first charger was installed by a resident of Munirka in south Delhi, the second set of chargers has come up in east Delhi’s Vivek Vihar.
To promote EV adoption, Delhi government has initiated the single window facility where the consumers can get a private EV charging point installed via an online single window portal, Switch Delhi. These can be at their homes, group housing societies, multi-story apartment complexes, RWAs offices and commercial shops through discom empanelled vendors. Under the policy, 12 private vendors have been empanelled with BSES.
