Train tragedy: CBI quizzes signal junior engineer
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is probing into the Bahanaga triple train tragedy on June 2 that left 292 killed and over 1,000 injured, on Tuesday questioned Soro Section Signal Junior Engineer (JE) Amir Khan in connection with the devastating mishap.
On Monday, the Central probe agency had sealed the rented house of Amir Khan, who along with his family members were not present at the house during the raid.
The investigators on Tuesday took Amir Khan to the house in Soro, where they were questioning him regarding the train mishap.
A four-member team of the CBI accompanied by Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel had on Monday raided the rented house of Aamir Khan.
