Vaishnaw declares Rs 2 cr for Bahanaga
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Tuesday visited Bahanaga and thanked local people for their tremendous works in rescue and restoration works after the train tragedy on June 2. He announced Rs 2 crore for development works, including a health care centre, in the area.
“Rs 1 crore each would be given from the MP LAD Fund and the Railway fund;” he said.
He also felicitated the frontline health workers for their exemplary works after the train tragedy.
Vaishnaw, after reviewing the restoration works at the Bahanaga Bazar station, said the signaling and other works would be completed in another three to four days, after which normalcy would be restored in the station.
