Share market update: Nifty Commodities index down; BPCL loses 1%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Commodities index was trading on a negative note in Wednesday’s afternoon session.

Shares of PI Industrial (down 1.97 per cent) , Bharat Petroleum CorporationNSE -0.91 % (down 1.32 per cent) , ACC (down 1.3 per cent) , Indian Oil CorporationNSE -1.11 % (down 1.02 per cent) , UltraTech Cement (down 0.97 per cent) , Pidilite Industries (down 0.75 per cent) , VEDL (down 0.67 per cent) , Grasim IndustriesNSE -0.85 % (down 0.64 per cent) and Reliance IndustriesNSE 0.52 % (down 0.49 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
