Share market update: OMCs trade in the red; HPCL dips 2%

NEW DELHI: The BSE Oil & Gas index was trading in the red in Thursday’s morning session.

Shares of HPCL (down 1.93 per cent), Petronet LNG (down 1.01 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (down 0.89 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation (down 0.76 per cent), GAIL (India) (down 0.19 per cent), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (down 0.16 per cent) and Castrol India (down 0.11 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The S&P BSE Oil & Gas index was trading 0.21 per cent down at 14,745.70 around 10:46 am.
