Rs 18.5 cr okayed for 3 roads in Churah: Himachal Deputy Speaker
Deputy Speaker Dr Hans Raj inaugurated the construction work of the road connecting Chandi to Baroh via Bhatoli in Churah Assembly segment here, today. On the occasion, Raj said the government has approved Rs 18.5 crore to upgrade three more link roads in the constituency.
The 6.3 km-long Chandi-Baroh road will be constructed at a cost of Rs 5.5 crore under a programme of the NABARD. Raj said it was a long-pending demand of the locals and once completed it would benefit hundreds of residents of Chandi area. He also directed the Public Works Department to complete the road construction within the time frame.
