Over 8 lakh to be used to curb power cuts in Ambad
NASHIK: The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) will spend over Rs 8 lakh to resolve power issues affecting over 13,000 consumers in Ambad area.
The residents of several Ambad areas, including parts of industrial area, Khutwadnagar, Gulmohar Colony, Navnath Nagar etc, have been facing severe power issues since August 2022, including power failures for five to 10 hours at a stretch. Residents also face frequent power failures ranging from 30 minutes to two hours at least twice a week.
A senior MSEDCL officer said, “Major issue related to the power supply in the particular region was that there are several crossings of electric wires across the road in the Ambad industrial areas.
