NTPC provides health infra support to RIMS, SBMC

In view of the second wave of COVID pandemic in the country as well as in Jharkhand state resulting in a high surge in serious cases and resulting in bed scarcity across all the major hospitals in Ranchi city including Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RlMS).

NTPC Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining Project, Hazaribag, has come forward for providing assistance to RIMS, Ranchi for installation of oxygen piping system to convert a four-story unit (16wards) to provide additional 332 oxygen equipped beds to be put in service for covid cases with the financial support of 45 lakhs under the CSR initiative. Currently, the work is in steady progress and around 150 beds are to be admission ready this week and the rest are expected to be ready soon this month.
