No power, no phones: Telugus marooned in Manali
HYDERABAD: The control room in the national capital was flooded with calls through the day on Tuesday as desperate family members of stranded Telangana tourists reached out seeking information on loved ones.
Even social media platforms saw a barrage of posts from friends and relatives, urging the Telangana government to help.
Among them was Aziz Khan, a student from St Mary’s College in Yousufguda who requested the IT minister to rescue six of his college friends – Syed Farooq, Shahid Khan, Mohammed Rehan, Mohammed Osaid, Umar Shah Baz and Syed Ibrahim Ahmed – all of them 20-years-old.
