Cong plot to scrap free power if party in govt, warns BRS
Hyderabad: The comments of Telangana Congress president A Revanth Reddy on free power kicked off a row with BRS alleging that Congress was conspiring to scrap free power to agriculture sector if it is voted to power in the coming elections.
BRS gave a call to farmers to reject attempts to bring back the ‘dark days’ in Telangana before formation of the state. Ministers KT Rama Rao, G Jagadish Reddy, T Harish Rao, Errabelli Dayakar Rao and A Indrakaran Reddy and party leader Dasoju Sravan accused Congress of pursuing ‘anti-farmer’ policies.
