Hyderabad: Man climbs atop train, knocked by live wire burns

HYDERABAD: A man suffered severe burns after he came in contact with a live wire after climbing a goods train at Secunderabad Railway station late on Saturday night. The injured was immediately shifted to a hospital and is currently battling for life.

Doctors said that the victim had suffered 60% burn injuries including to his head. The victim climbed a goods train on platform no. 1 at 12.10 am on Sunday and touched a live wire.

“The incident took place when the train had just started. He fell down between the gap of two boogies. The train was made to stop and the injured was brought up and was shifted to hospital in an ambulance,” Secunderabad Railway police told TOI.
