Hike in fuel prices; U’khand Cong to protest
The increase in the prices of petrol and diesel has given the opposition Congress party an opportunity to attack the BJP Government. The Uttarakhand unit of Congress party has decided to hold a protest on hike in prices of petrol and diesel in provisional state capital, Dehradun on June 24.
Launching an attack on the Narendra Modi Government for affecting an increase in the prices of fossil fuels, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Pritam Singh said that the decision of the Government has hit the people of the country hard who already are reeling under the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic.
