GAIL declines 2.11% as Sensex slides
Shares of GAIL NSE -2.71 % (India) Ltd. traded at Rs 130.2 on BSE at 01:56PM (IST) on Friday, down 2.11 per cent from previous close.
The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 79.0 and a high of Rs 157.95.
Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.
A total of 288,699 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:56PM (IST).
The stock of GAIL (India) Ltd. commanded a market value of Rs 57991.43 crore, according to BSE.
The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 6.92, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 0.7. Return on equity (ROE) was at 19.12 per cent, according to exchange data.
