Share price of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. gained 0.57 per cent to Rs 88.3 at 12:48PM (IST) in Friday’s trade. The stock hit a high of Rs 88.55 and low of Rs 87.45 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 87.8 in the previous session.
The counter had a total traded volume of 12:48PM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 2.97 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 16.76 and a price-to-book ratio of 0.79.
A higher price-to-earnings ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.
