Encroachments along highway go unchecked

Illegal encroachments along the highway in Kullu district are going on unchecked. Many temporary structures have been raised along the highway right under the nose of the authorities. The vehicles parked on the highway adjacent to dhabas are a major cause of accidents. Anti-encroachment drives are carried out occasionally and that too generally after the court orders, but there is no regular checking.
