Air India Express Mangaluru-Dubai flight delayed for 13 hours due to technical snag

MANGALURU: An Air India Express flight (IX813), scheduled to fly to Dubai on Monday night from Mangaluru International Airport, was delayed for more than 13 hours due to a technical snag.

The flight with 161 passengers finally took off for its scheduled destination on Tuesday afternoon.

According to an AIE spokesperson, the flight scheduled to take off at 11.05pm on Monday night developed a technical snag. It was delayed by over 13 hours and took off at 12.10pm on Tuesday. To facilitate the journey, an alternative aircraft was arranged from Thiruvananthapuram.
