Yogi Adityanath government starts work on Greater Noida airport
The Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh has started work on Jewar airport and has written to the aviation ministry to conduct a technical evaluation of the proposed site.
“The current Uttar Pradesh government has sent a proposal on Jewar airport to the aviation ministry. The proposal is to conduct a technical evaluation of the site in Jewar,” said aviation minister Jayant Sinha.
A technical evaluation is required, as the earlier evaluation was done quite sometime back, added Sinha.
Jewar airport in Greater Noida will act as a second airport in the national capital of Delhi.
