Workshop on Materials Energy and Sustainability at NML

The National Academy of Sciences (NASI), Jharkhand Chapter, in collaboration with the CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory (CSIR-NML), Jamshedpur, has organised a one-day “Workshop on Materials for Energy and Sustainability” on January 20, 2023. The programme was organised in hybrid mode.

A welcome address to the audience was delivered by Dr Avanish Kumar Srivastava, Director, CSIR-NML, through online mode, and discussed the workshop’s theme and its relevance to society. The objective of this workshop is to bring together experts and discuss new opportunities and challenges for the development of sustainable energy materials. Materials for energy and sustainability are aligned with the UN’s SDGs on affordable and cleaner energy, and industry-innovation infrastructure, with responsible production and consumption.
