Work in double-shift to finish construction works for Kumbh 2021: CM

Work should be undertaken in double-shift to expedite the construction works for Kumbh Mela 2021. Officials, involved in Kumbh Mela works, should prepare a clear road-map of works to be done at their level and ensure completion of the works on time. Government orders for permanent works for Kumbh Mela should be issued soon for works regarding which the government orders have not been issued yet.

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat issued these directions while chairing a meet to review preparations for Kumbh Mela to be held during 2021 in Haridwar. Rawat said that deadline should be set for construction of all the bridges to be made for the Kumbh Mela. Timely construction of the bridges will make the construction of roads more convenient, he said.
